Job application letters
When writing job application letters to apply for positions, it will need to consist of:
Your contact details, the date, the address of where to send the job application letter and 3 paragraphs:
Paragraph 1: Will mention the name of the position and where / when it was advertised and by whom.
Paragraph 2: Will state why you are interested in the position, what you have to offer, your experiences and a brief work history.
Paragraph 3: You will be asking for an interview in this paragraph, also informing the employer you have enclosed a copy of your resume and would like the opportunity to expand on your experiences.
End your job application letter by:
“Yours sincerely” if you have addressed your application to a person using their name and “Yours faithfully” if you have addressed the application to “Dear Sir/Madam”
Don’t forget to attach a copy of your resume.
My suggestion is: A clear, concise, well set out, easy to read, one page job application letter.
