Good interview techniques:Good Interview techniques

The first five minutes:
The first five minutes of the interview is your opportunity to establish rapport between yourself and the interviewer.

Smiling and shaking hands with a good strong firm hand shake will be noticed!

If they start a casual conversation, answer politely, but keep you answers short and positive.

The key here is to control your breathing and try to relax

You need to convince the employers that you are the most suitable person for the position so be positive and keep calm

Try to speak clearly

During the interview:
If the interviewer asked you a question your not really sure about, then ask them to repeat the question, or if they could explain what they mean.

Take this time to let the interviewer know that you have skills to offer, speak positively about your skills, experience and general knowledge.

Show you are motivated, enthusiastic and reliable.

Some employers will ask you to complete a short questionnaire; just do you best and remember to keep calm.

Offer information about you communication skills, such as a team player, great with people and the ability to think on your feet.

Close:
You will know when the interview is coming to a close as the interviewers will ask you if you have any questions or anything to add.

You may like to try “What else can I tell you that will enhance my chances of obtaining the position?”
Or
Can you give me an idea when I will find out if I was successful?

Remember:
It is normal to attend many interviews before you obtain the position you want, learn from each experience, the good interview techniques you have learned and gather the strength and confidence to attend the next one. Just keep trying and you will gain the job you want.
